2nd annual Meservey carnival approaching

For those who thought last year’s first annual Meservey carnival was a hit, there is much in store for this year’s upcoming festivities.

The carnival serves as a supplement to Meservey’s annual Fireworks Day, on Saturday, Jun 30. Meservey Public Library Director Chelsea Price orchestrated the carnival to encourage residents to remain out and about in Meservey’s proper throughout the day instead of returning to their homes.

With the second carnival celebration comes a couple of new surprises, Chelsea told the newspaper. South Shore Donut Company out of Clear Lake will provide donuts for purchase. More inflatables are carnival games will join the lineup, as well as a giant sprinkler, water ball slingshot, barrel train rides, and a magician performance.
