Dugan’s employees mourn Sheffield store’s closing doors
Dugan’s Supermarket, owned by Rockwell resident Tony Laudner, has been in operation in Sheffield since 2007 and is now being consolidated into the store’s other location in Rockwell.
Manager Becky Robinson said local residents who work in bigger cities tend to stop for groceries there, starving local businesses.
“People have to support their small town stores,” she said, “or they’re not going to make it.”
