Field trip day for West Fork FFA
The students of the West Fork FFA chapter had an action and information filled day at the Legislative Symposium and Power Farming Show last week.
The group of six students began their day at the World Food Prize in downtown Des Moines, where they were joined by an additional three percent of Iowa's FFA chapters.
The students were educated on etiquette when speaking to representatives and senators, and discussed why FFA is important to the individual.
