Halloran steps up in Warhawks victory

SHEFFIELD — Knowing that usual starting center Brayden Vold is out of the lineup with an injury, senior Mitchell Halloran took it upon himself to step up.

He did so in a big way with a double-double, leading the Warhawk boys’ basketball team with 17 points and 12 rebounds as West Fork held off St. Ansgar, 67-59, on Friday, Jan. 25.

“He’s got a high ankle sprain on his left ankle,” Halloran said of Vold. “He’s been out for two games now and I think he’s going to be out the rest of the weekend. He might be back Monday..."
