LAKE MILLS – Consider the weight of the situation for West Fork senior Jake Hansen.

With a pin of Lake Mills’ Cael Boehmer in the 138-pound district final at Lake Mills, Hansen became the Warhawks first four-time state wrestling qualifier in school history.

“It’s pretty special to accomplish that,” Hansen said. “Most guys these days just want to make it to state for the first time, so it’s pretty cool to make it there four times and have my teammate make it there, too.

“It’s pretty nice that we both get to end our career at Wells Fargo.”
