Mason City man arrested for federal violations
A Mason City man was taken into custody following a search warrant executed by seven different agencies last week.
The incident took place at 211 N Jefferson Ave, where officers found what was described as “a large amount” of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Jeffrey David Determan, 56, was arrested on an outstanding federal warrant for a supervised release violation, issued by the US Marshals.
The agencies involved were the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department, the Clear Lake Police Dept, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Dept, Mason City PD, the United States Marshals, North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force (NCINTF), and the NCINTF Special Operations Group.
