North Iowa veterans happy with VA healthcare

Nationally, the VA healthcare system is familiar with negative press and feedback, but Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) in Iowa recently shared some good news with the provider.

     At a VVA state council meeting in Des Moines, members discussed mixed reviews that the VA has gotten in recent years.

     “Overall, our people are very happy with the VA in Iowa,” said Larry Paul, president of the North Star VVA Chapter, which includes Franklin and Cerro Gordo County Veterans.
