One Vision to host: 49th annual Benefit Walk, Community Challenge

One Vision will host its 49th annual Benefit Walk on Saturday, Sept. 15 in Clear Lake. The event is held annually to raise funds for services provided to more than 550 individuals of all abilities supported by the Clear Lake-based nonprofit organization.

The Benefit Walk will be held at Clear Lake’s City Park in Clear Lake. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with the walk following at 9 a.m.

“Events like the 49th annual Benefit Walk provide a way to not only bring our community together, but also helps raise awareness and generate crucial resources to support the services we provide,” said Jennifer Pinske, development officer with One Vision. “This year, our goal is to raise $90,000. If we meet this goal, it will enable our organization to support 50 people in their search for meaningful jobs. That’s $1,900 per person for six months of job discovery, training, coaching & more.”
