Relay for Life kicks off in Hampton

     The 2019 Franklin County Relay for Life program got off to a successful beginning Friday evening.

     For the first time ever, the event was held at Hampton’s Band Shell Park.

     Heath Walton of Hampton and Dennis Carlson of Coulter, the honorary co-chairs for the event, both provided inspirational talks to the large crowd in attendance.

     Walton has been a teacher in the Hampton-Dumont school district for 20 years and has also been active in coaching.
