Residents talk issues
A small group gathered to voice concerns and give opinions to a member from Sen. Joni Ernst’s office at the Rockwell Public Library on March 15.
Brittany Carroll, Regional Director for the Ernst Office, visited Rockwell to get constituents concerns and relay them to their senator.
About 10 people were at the library, and there was initial confusion among the visitors as they thought Ernst herself would make an appearance. Carroll advised them she was there to hear their concerns and met with individuals or small groups throughout the hour-long session.
Dan Ramaker, a Mason City resident, spoke to Carroll about his concerns with healthcare and social security.
