Rockwell Examines Tax Incentive Program

The Rockwell City Council discussed tax incentives, pool business and employee accountability during its regular meeting on Wednesday, July 16.

     The city's tax abatement policy was the first item up for discussion as the council considered whether to provide a property tax break on new development. While the city has often provided new businesses with a tax incentive, the question of how long the city will continue to offer these tax incentives was brought up.
