ROCKWELL SAVES CHRISTMAS FOR NEW RESIDENTS IN NEED

This will be a Christmas to remember for Michael Jondal and Heidi Milligan.

Previously f rom Council Bluffs, circumstances led to Jondal and Milligan moving to a Rockwell apartment without much to their name. Newly on their own, with little in funds or support, the couple faced a dire situation. On Monday, December 3, an emergency call was made as Jondal was ill after five days of not eating.

“I was not in very good health,” said Jondal. “I was scared out of my mind.”

Responding to the call, a Cerro Gordo County deputy put Jondal in touch with the local food bank to get them something to eat. However they weren’t the only ones to come to their aid.
