The schedule of events for Saturday’s 2019 People in the Park Celebration, under the direction of the Sheffield Community Club, was a busy one.

The Sheffield Public Library Foundation held its annual free will donation omelet breakfast at the high school to begin the day.

There were vendors in City Park beginning at 10 a.m.

One of the big highlights of the day was the parade which began at 10:30 a.m.

Serving as Grand Marshals for the parade were Pastor Kim Willis of Zion St. John Lutheran Church and his wife, Diane.

Others featured in the parade were CC Gilman Award winner Floyd P. Edgington Jr., Outstanding Citizen Donna Symens and Care Center Queen Dorothy Alden.
