String of drug-related arrests occur locally on Independence Day
A Sheffield native was arrested by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department in the early morning hours of Jul 4 after officers discovered he had a valid Franklin County warrant.
Ryan Rolling, 33, is being charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Additionally, an Ohio woman was arrested in Sheffield near Highway 65 later that day. 22 year old Melissa Melohn was cited and released for possessing marijuana just before 10 p.m., according to the sheriff’s log.
