Sukup inducted into National Academy of Engineering

Charles Sukup was formally inducted into the National Academy of Engineering this weekend at the academy’s annual meeting in Washington D.C.

Sukup, president of Sukup Manufacturing Co., was among 99 new members inducted into the academy, joining the ranks of more than 2,400 of the nation and world’s top engineers.

“Election to the National Academy of Engineering is among the highest professional distinction accorded to an engineer,” says the NAE release. “Academy membership honors those who have made outstanding contributions to engineering research, practice, or education.”
