Swaledale FD trains with jaws of life

The Swaledale Fire Department got in some training with their Jaws of Life machine this weekend.

Using a car donated by R&R Gas and Repair as their unfortunate test vehicle, the firefighters broke out the machine and tore in asunder to make sure everybody knows how it works in the event of an emergency.

“We’re just going through it, making sure everything is working,” said Fire Chief Blaine Wilson. “We had a couple of new guys that needed to go through it.”
