Swaledale Fire Department Hosts Breakfast Fundraiser
The Swaledale Fire Department was the place to eat on Saturday if you wanted a hot breakfast or lunch. The Fire Department cooked for the community for their annual fundraiser.
Serving up biscuits and gravy, the fire department enjoyed a slew of support from the area community. So many people came to the fire barn for breakfast that the firefighters ran out of food before 9:00.
"The tables were full this morning for two hours straight," said Adam Wedmore.
After breakfast, the firefighters switched over to the lunch menu, serving up chili and maidrites during the afternoon.
