Swaledale Plans For Summer Projects

     The Swaledale City Council met for their regular meet on Monday, June 9 at City Hall.

     At the meeting, the council discussed purchasing a new alarm system for the city's well. With two bids set at considerably different prices due to one needing a new panel, the council decided to wait until the new pump is installed before making a decision.

     Library Director Heather Jones reported that 12 children have registered for summer reading, which started on June 11 with a CSI program. A breakfast fundraiser was held on Saturday, June 21 to raise money for sidewalk repairs.
