SHEFFIELD – State success and a streak coming to an end were among the top stories in West Fork Nation in 2017. Below are the top three stories from the past year:

West Fork’s Jarel Arbegast becomes West Fork’s first state wrestling finalist. Jake Hansen becomes first four-time place winner. History made during the nine years the program has been in existence. Arbegast finished state runner-up and later signed to wrestle at Grand View in Des Moines. Hansen, who was the consolation champion, ended his wrestling career and went on to run at NIACC.
