Warhawks go back-to-back to close out CBC cross country meet

 

MANLY – Peyton Twedt won his third straight Corn Bowl Conference cross country title to lead West Fork’s boys squad to the team championship on Thursday, Oct. 16 at Pioneer Country Club in Manly.

Twedt crossed the finish line in 16 minutes, 47 seconds to out-distance teammate Jacob Hansen (16:58) as the Warhawks scored 21 points to win the meet convincingly over North Butler.

Talia Rowe won the girls’ individual title in 16:27 and her sister Maya Rowe came in second at 17:14 as the Warhawk girls’ team also went back-to-back in the Corn Bowl’s final year.
