Warhawks notch first four-game win streak in school history

SHEFFIELD – West Fork overcame a blocked field goal for a 93-yard return and an 8-0 deficit to top Graettinger-Terrill/Ruthven-Ayrshire to win 22-14 at home on Friday, Oct. 4.

The victory marked the first four-game football win streak in Warhawk history.

That was hard to process for the players, who had to overcome deficits in the last two games to achieve it.

“It feels great,” Kayden Ames said, who caught a late halfback pass from Ian Latham that turned a slim 15-14 lead into the final. “Ever since week two, we were 0-2, coach was preaching, ‘it’s a new season, we’re going 7-0 from now on.’ That’s what we’re doing, I guess.”
