Weaver wins 1,500 at Wartburg Indoor

WAVERLY – Kenna Weaver started her senior track season off right by claiming the 1,500-meter run title at the first indoor meet of the season for the West Fork girls’ track team.

Weaver clocked in at 5 minutes, 13.67 seconds in the event, winning by 20 seconds over 4A schools Cedar Falls, Marshalltown and Iowa City High.
