West Fork applies for FEMA grant
The West Fork Community School Board met for their regular meeting on Monday, November 19 in Rockwell.
At the meeting, the board approved a resolution to allow the district to apply for a FEMA grant with the intent of building a safe room at the Rockwell campus. “It’ll be a new structure,” said Superintendent Darrin Strike.
Planned as an addition to the northeast corner of the Rockwell building, the safe room will be designed to be a secure location in the event of a tornado or other imminent danger.
