West Fork expands NIACC offerings
College was the main item of discussion as the West Fork Community School Board wrapped up 2018 with their last meeting before winter break.
At the meeting, the board examined and discussed various statistics about how West Fork students are faring once they leave the district. Specifically, how they are performing when they move on to NIACC, which a large number of students do.
“59 percent of our kids that enrolled in NIACC walked away with a degree,” said Superintendent Darrin Strike, noting that the average rate is 45 percent.
