HAMPTON — West Fork girls’ basketball ended a seven-game losing streak at the hands of Hampton-Dumont during its annual Coaches vs. Cancer game, 53-48.

It was the first win against the Bulldogs for coach Rodney Huber.

“It feels really good,” Huber said. “I told the girls that and I think I gave them a little extra motivation because this is my first time beating them and it’s been five-six years. We’ve gotten closer and closer every year, so it’s good to take the monkey off my back.”
