West Fork talks 2019-20 budget

The West Fork Community School Board talked about the senior trip, next year’s budget, and e-sports during their regular meeting on Monday, March 18 in Rockwell.

The meeting began with a presentation by representatives from the senior class as Lauren Trewin, Mckenna Weaver, Samantha Ries, Mara Heimbuch, Rachael Jones, and Devin Kotenbeutl laid out their plans for the upcoming senior trip.

The class of 2019 is looking to venture out for a weekend of fun in Kansas City where they will enjoy a water park, visit the Kansas City Zoo, explore the Go Ape outdoor obstacle course, play games at the Power Play arcade, take some swings at Topgolf, and get some educational time in with a tour of the Federal Reserve Bank’s Money Museum.

Drivers and chaperones have already been arranged, as have the various reservations needed for the venues. With the senior class plans looking in order, the board approved the class trip.
