WF FFA plants trees at FFA barn

Throughout the school year the West Fork FFA Chapter has been working with Sukup Manufacturing on improving their livestock barn and the surrounding area. The decision was made to improve the aesthetic appeal of the area for the future of the property. The plan was approved to tear down most of the existing trees and replace them in the spring.

The Chapter finally saw the opportunity to make these changes in April. Lambertson Excavating came in over spring break to clear the existing trees from the lot. The Emhoff family cultivated the ground to soften the soil around the property. On April 17 the FFA students worked together to plant over 50 white pine trees. Sukup Manufacturing provided the trees. They will act as a windbreak for the property and should make the area look great in the future.
