West Fork has fairy tale prom

     It was a storybook evening for West Fork students on Saturday as the juniors and seniors enjoyed their prom night.

     Set to a fairy tale theme of “Once Upon A Time,” more than a hundred teens dressed up for their prom walk through the “castle garden” in the south gym on Saturday afternoon before setting out for the evening.

     This year’s prom royalty was Jacob Kuhlmeier and Melanie VanHorn.

     In the north gym, the students danced in their own “enchanted forest” until the clock struck 11:30 p.m. Then their formalwear turned back into casual clothes and they moved south for the after-prom party.
