Warhawks start hitting to overcome early deficit against Bearcats

SHEFFIELD – North Butler’s boys basketball team was playing lights out in the first quarter, building itself a 12-4 lead against Corn Bowl Conference foe West Fork.
And then, the Bearcats stopped contesting shots by the Warhawks, which proved to be North Butler’s undoing in West Fork’s 76-53 win on Friday, Dec. 12.
“We started out not shooting the ball well from the perimeter,” West Fork coach Frank Schnoes said. “We are, I think, a good perimeter-shooting team….”
