Vanness claims District 3 Supervisor race

HAMPTON — Republican candidate Chris Vanness came away with the victory in the only contested Franklin County race during the Nov. 3 election.

Vanness claimed the District 3 Supervisor race with 1,179 votes, while incumbent Corey A. Eberling collected 647. There were seven write-in votes.

Incumbent County Sheriff Aaron Dodd ran unopposed and finished with 4,393 votes. There were 90 write-in votes.

Katy Flint ran unopposed for the County Auditor spot, finishing with 4,237 votes. There were 71 write-ins.
