THORNTON — The Thornton City Council approved a pair of contracts at its regular meeting Monday as they continued to move forward with the community’s Water Improvement Project.

After hearing a proposal from Chris Diggins, Local Assistance Director from NIACOG, the Council approved entering into a contract with NIACOG for preparation of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Environmental Assessment.
