Linda Dunning spent 25 years at Rockwell’s library
After 25 years at the Rockwell Public Library, the director Linda Dunning has decided to retire.
Her last day was Friday July 29, as Carla Dougherty took the helm.
Dunning is originally from the quad cities area, and started at the library in 1991, two years after her family moved to Rockwell for her husband’s job.
“Before that I was a stay-at-home mom,” Dunning said.
She started out as a staff person working just a few hours a week.
“I started out working very few hours, but I really enjoyed it,” Dunning said.
