DES MOINES – West Fork senior Kayden Ames was selected to the Class 1A Sub-state 2 all-region team, announced recently.

Ames, an all-stater last year for the Warhawks, averaged 15.66 points this season and became just the fourth West Fork player to earn 1,000 career points, doing so in just three years of playing after suffering a season-ending injury his freshman year.

He also averaged 3.95 rebounds, two assists and a steal per game. During regional play, he averaged 10.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and an assist in the four post-season games.
