Rockwell resident now has to replace her furnace for the fourth time
Problems with flooding have become a major issue for some residents of Rockwell, and those issues were discussed at the regular City Council meeting along with different policy reviews for public employees.
After storms in the last week of August that saw a couple resident’s backyards turned into a lake, Rockwell Public Works Director Jay Siefken brought up the issue of flooding to the Council.
“We got three inches in an hour and it screwed with a lot of people, we have issues,” Siefken said.
One of those residents was Becky Weydert, 57, who lives at 112 Maple Street.
