Council rejects bid for sale of lots

SWALEDALE — The Swaledale City Council rejected a bid for the sale of two and one-half vacant lots at its regular meeting Nov. 9.

The lots are located at 103 4th Street. The Council opened the one sealed bid that was received for the lots, with that bid being for $1,053. Since that bid did not meet the required minimum of $5,000, the Council rejected the bid. They decided to discuss another option for selling the lots at their next meeting.
