SHEFFIELD – Kale and Kaden Petersen, making their official varsity debuts for the West Fork wrestling team, aided the Warhawks to a 1-2 finish, getting a big dual victory over Mason City Newman in a home double dual on Thursday, Jan. 16.

The duo combined to go 6-0 for the night with three forfeits afforded them as coach Jared Arbegast’s team topped Newman, 33-30, and lost two close duals to North Union (36-30) and fell by criteria (43-42) against Belmond-Klemme, which also won its dual by criteria over Newman.

The brothers, who transferred from Rockford at the start of the school year, amassed 36 total points (either by fall or forfeit) during the three duals for the Warhawks.
