Primary election set for June 7

     Cerro Gordo County voters won’t find much local competition on the ballot when they head to the polls Tuesday during the June 7 primary election.

     Incumbent District 1 Supervisor Jay Urdahl is running unopposed in the Republican primary. No Democrats filed. In Supervisor District 3, incumbent Phillip Dougherty is running unopposed on the Democratic ballot, while Chris Watts is running alone on the Republican side.

     Incumbent County Auditor Kenneth Kline and incumbent Sheriff Kevin Pals were the lone candidates to file papers from either party for their respective offices. They are both running as Republicans.
