    The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a single-vehicle rollover accident Tuesday afternoon north of Chapin.

    The accident occurred near the intersection of S43 and 220th Street. On-scene investigators said a female driver was headed northbound when she lost control of her car and entered the east ditch, rolling the vehicle.

    Deputies said they were investigating the accident as a possible drunk driving offense. They did not name the driver. No one else was in the car.

    Deputies also said the driver was able to walk from her car to the ambulance before being transported to Franklin General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. However, they said she had a large gash on her head.

    The Sheffield Fire Department and Franklin General EMS also responded to the accident.
