Thornton Library Summer Reading Program builds a castle

The children who attended the 2021 “Imagine Your Story” Summer Reading Program received “bricks” for every book read. These bricks built a 6 foot by 8 foot

castle with 2 turrets. Once we met our reading goal of building the Castle, we lowered the drawbridge over the moat and surprise! Ring pops dangled from the open drawbridge and each reader was awarded a ring pop.
