CEDAR FALLS – As University of Northern Iowa senior and West Fork graduate Seth Tuttle reflects on his last three seasons, he’s poised to make memories in his final season with the Panthers’ basketball program.
The 6-foot-8, 240-pound senior out of Sheffield has come a long way in the last four years and it shows.
UNI head coach Ben Jacobson tells the story best of how Tuttle and fellow senior Deon Mitchell entered his program as freshmen and the guard weighed one more pound than the center, 207 to 208.
“So our point guard was heavier than our center, which doesn’t happen on a basketball team very often,” Jacobson said. “Fortunately, we stand here today and Deon is 191 pounds and Seth is pushing 240 pounds….”
More on this story will be found in the print editions of the Sheffield Press and Pioneer Enterprise.
