West Fork trio earn IPSWA all-state

DES MOINES – Following West Fork’s first-ever state playoff victory, the Warhawks earned some individual state recognition via the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association, announced early Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Seniors Kayden Ames and Ren Heimer were voted to the Class A second team and senior lineman Levi Janssen was voted to the third team.

Ames, who was a multi-dimensional quarterback for the Warhawks, earned a spot as an offensive utility player.
