DES MOINES – Collecting his second straight all-state accolades to cap his career, West Fork catcher Clay Emhoff was voted first team by the Iowa Newspaper Association.
Emhoff, a third team utility player by the INA a year ago, batted .500 as a lead-off hitter for the Warhawks.
He helped lead coach Lance Thompson’s team to a 22-5 record, falling in the Class 1A District final to eventual state champion Mason City Newman.
