During its regular meeting Monday night, the Thornton City Council set a public hearing date and time for the prosed budget for the 2020/2021 Fiscal Year.

That hearing will take place at a special Council meeting on Monday, March 16 at 8:30 a.m.

Community Center rates

After a brief discussion, the Council approved making the following changes to the rates associated with the Thornton Community Center:

• Rent — Set the amount at $35 per use (an increase of $10 over the present rate).

• Cleaning — Set the amount at $100 per month (an increase of $50 over the present rate).
