Warhawks get one dual at home quad

SHEFFIELD – The West Fork wrestling team claimed a 35-12 win over Rockford before succumbing to St. Ansgar (42-18) and West Hancock (60-18) to open the season on Thursday, Dec. 3.

Earning three wins for coach Jared Arbegast’s team were top-ranked 106-pounder Kale Petersen, Rafe Arbegast at 113/120 and heavyweight (285-pounder) Levi Janssen.

Petersen won two of his matches by fall, the third by forfeit, as did Rafe Arbegast, who bumped up to 120 for his win over West Hancock’s Luis Sandoval in 2 minutes, 41 seconds.
